Silsden man John Hinchliffe has received almost a quarter of a million pounds of private medical treatment and as this has all been paid for by insurance arranged through Baildon based intermediary The Private Health Partnership (PHP), John is believed to be the largest claimant in the company’s history.
After digging in their archives as part of its 20th Anniversary, PHP was amazed to discover that John, a long standing client, had survived a series of severe medical problems necessitating several operations and many months in hospital over several years.
To mark PHP’s 20 years in business, the original founders of PHP, Jan Lawson and Peter Bye, together with current Sales and Marketing Director, Stuart Scullion, visited John at his home in Silsden and presented him with a voucher for a celebratory dinner at a local hotel along with wishing him well for a long and healthy future.
Mr Hinchliffe readily agreed that his insurance cover had represented excellent value for money and that the continuity of care and personal interest of his specialist medical consultants and local private hospital was a key factor in him being alive and well today.
Jan Lawson from PHP commented, "In the last few years we are increasingly seeing claims of £100,000 plus, especially on cancer treatment becoming more advanced, but it was a delight to see Mr Hinchlifffe’s life had been saved."
The Private Health Partnership Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
