09-02-2010Telegraph Media Group appoints PHP as PMI Partner

The Private Health Partnership (PHP) is bringing its knowledge of medical insurance and other health related products to the new Telegraph Medical Insurance Service  (TMIS), launched by Telegraph Media Group (TMG).

PHP will be offering Telegraph readers unbiased advice and recommending products to first time buyers of medical insurance; reviewing existing policies to help those looking to reduce premiums without lowering benefit levels; and providing peace of mind to those who just want reassurance that their current arrangements are suitable for their personal needs.

Advice offered by PHP will extend beyond UK and International medical insurance products into cash plans; and also the ‘self pay’ market, through its specialist subsidiary Medical Care Direct, for those who do not wish or cannot have medical insurance.

Commenting on PHP’s new relationship, Jan Lawson, Managing Director said, “As we celebrate the company’s 21st Anniversary this month, PHP’s appointment as Telegraph Media Group’s PMI partner is a huge endorsement of the levels of service, quality of advice and the commitment we give our clients. The Telegraph’s readership is an important audience for PMI and for a major media group such as TMG to select PHP is a tremendous opportunity for all parties.”

Rob Daniel, Business Development Management at TMG said, “With such a bewildering choice of healthcare schemes available today, the ability for our readers to be able to utilise the skills and experience of PHP through our TMIS will be invaluable.”

TMIS customers using the service will also benefit from having access to PHP’s expertise in relation to any aspect of health and wellbeing, including access to their in house claims service to advise and support each client with their claims; as well as an independent annual review of policies to ensure they continue to meet each individuals needs at a competitive price.
