Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP)

An EAP provides 24 hour, 365 day access to trained counsellors offering support on emotional, financial, legal, occupational or civil issues. From as little as 10p per employee per week, an EAP can help individuals, managers and organisations to cope with work-related and personal problems that impact on performance at work, thereby improving productivity and workplace efficiency.

An EAP leaves employees with the knowledge that whenever they need support, there is always someone impartial available to listen and discuss in confidence the issues affecting them. The counselling can be provided in a number of ways; face-to-face, over the telephone and electronically.

Companies can receive statistical data to show how and why their employees are calling and therefore can tackle problems within the workplace.
