New look PHP on the move
The Private Health Partnership Ltd (PHP), part of the Skipton Building Society, is getting ready for the next phase in its development by combining its Otley and Shipley operations with a move to specifically designed headquarters in Baildon, West Yorkshire.
PHP has been expanding fast, including three acquisitions in three months, to confirm its position as one of the largest medical and health insurance broking and advisory firms in the country. Currently it services around 8,000 corporate and company clients, trade associations and individuals.
Commenting on the move, Jan Lawson, managing director, and co-founder of the company said, "Although it was sad to leave Otley where the business has spent many years since its formation in 1988, we are still very much in Yorkshire although our clients are spread right across the UK.
"The new offices were fitted out to our specifications and requirements working closely with local architects Rance Booth. They are much more appropriate for today's working environment and importantly are large enough to enable us to keep growing with the potential to double current staff numbers of 56 people to around 100. We even have a gym next door at which we have enrolled all our staff as part of PHP's commitment to encourage a healthy lifestyle and well being."
To coincide with the new offices, PHP has also redesigned all its marketing literature for both the corporate, including trade associations, and individual markets. The new materials amalgamates a modern style and look with PHP's established 'nurse with the lamp' logo. They also have the flexibility to be tailored accordingly, for example including additional information as appropriate on its health related or RED ARC serious illness services.
Jan Lawson concluded, "The last four months have been an exciting period for PHP with our three additional acquisitions, new premises and a new look. It will be interesting to see what the rest of 2007 offers."
