02/12/2008 PHP establishes southern base
The Private Health Partnership Ltd (PHP) has established a Southern base in Hove, West Sussex endorsing its presence and commitment as a National specialist healthcare intermediary. And, as part of this development, has appointed Paula Aitken as Commercial Manager with immediate effect.
"We have always enjoyed a very strong client presence in the South and establishing an office in the region was a logical next step, especially now as Paula has come on board", commented Jan Lawson, Managing Director of PHP.
Prior to joining PHP, Aitken had been with ADVO Group since 2004, as Director of Healthcare and subsequently Managing Director (from 2006). In 1998 she was with GB Medicare becoming Managing Director in 2000. She has also been a member of the Executive Committee and Membership Secretary of the Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries 2000 – 2004.
Welcoming Aitken's appointment, Lawson added, "Paula is a very high profile and respected figure within the healthcare sector. Her knowledge and experience is considerable and she brings additional skills to the party which will be extremely beneficial to PHP as a group. She will be a tremendous asset to both PHP and our clients."
Paula Aitken said, "PHP has ambitious plans going forward and I welcome being part of those plans. PHP’s culture, ethos and reputation are second to none and I look forward to working closely alongside my new colleagues."
PHP currently services over 8,300 corporate and company clients, trade associations and individuals with an annual premium income in excess of £40 million.
